Autoindustriya just reviewed the 2017 Pajero:

    http://www.autoindustriya.com/car-re...-gls-di-d.html

Overall this is still a very charming vehicle. Personally, I'm more attracted to the Pajero than the Explorer and even the Prado. Maybe it's the old-school classic vibe that draws me.

Excellent review. Looks really dated imo.

The 3.5L V6 Explorer AWD 370HP at P2.870 is better than this Pajero

question lang regarding the prado, which one is the 2017 model? im confused, they showed me the vertical grilles as the latest model but i keep seeing the horizontal grilles on other sites as the latest. is it just the difference between dubai and euro models, are they both '17 models? sory, trying to upload the pics but im having a difficult time doing it

Not trying to burst your bubble, but given the choice between the two vehicles,

gas explorer or a gas prado, I'd go for the Toyota.

*beebee - give both the Prado gas V6 and Explorer V6 Ecoboost a test-drive to know which suits best your driving preferences. Both are not known to be frugal on FC so get the one more suited to your requirements. The Prado has Toyota's reliability and a more outdoor-oriented nature. The Explorer V6 Ecoboost is more of an urban cruiser SUV with the quickness of sporty midsize sedans.

Or you can be more patient and wait for the CX9 2.5L SkyActiv Turbo.

The 2016 and 2017 prado has a 6-speed tranny vs the 5-speed of 2015 and below.
