Thanks a lot to everyone who posted their replies. I have decided to choose the Altis. I am also seriously considering the G variant due to the numerous valuable add-ons (e.g., passenger airbag, foglamps, front and back sensor, sideskirts, woodgrain interior, etc.) for only 38k.

The Altis has some really tempting good deals right now, but that is simply bec. an all new body Altis will be released in the coming months. In the end, its all about balancing being able to clinch a good deal or having this lingering thought in one's mind of a brand new spanking vehicle being regaled into obsolescence in just a matter of months.
