    Buying a new car is quite a gamble specially here in the Philippines. You are doomed if you buy a lemon!

    However, aside from the XV and CX3, I find most other small crossovers as boring. However, when I saw the Coolray, it is one good-looking crossover.

    The Kona is substantially faster than the XV, uses port injection so no build up on the intake valves, also handles nicely and is cheaper than the two you mentioned.

    mg zs owner here, i'm happy with my purchase, it is comparable to the other brands out there.

    my vehicles:

    1. trooper (stilll got it);
    2. hi ace (not boxy. sold it already, mahina aircon);
    3. first gen fort (sold it already, matagtag masyado kasi);
    4. chevy traverse (still got it);
    6. apv gen 2 (still got it)
    7. current tbz (still got it); and
    8. finally mg zs.

    so from here, i can say that I do have enough experience to compare with different brand.

    alam mo best advice is test drive both, suzuki preppy engine, mg zs is the space.

    yung geely maganda, if unang lumabas geely baka yun kinuha ko pero now baka hindi kasi tama sinabi ng isa, for 200k more for an untested brand, medyo alangan even with all those nice features- ang nasa isip ko pala kasi ng bumili ng mg, atleast di ganun ka sakit kasi 1m lang, plus the old aisn 4 at tranny is basically bullet proof vis a vis dct na at its infancy pa lang

    now... hindi na, baka mag shift ako sa mid size vehicles like camry or a comfy alphard or odyssey or van na meron step board tapos high roof.

    hirap na ako sumakay sa mga matataas and sawa na sa ppv suv, bili na lang ng pick up kung may pupunthan rough roads.

    nagulat ako ang sarap idrive, saktong sakto lang. i tried the rx5 and mg6 medyo natakot ako sa arangkada, lalo na kung manghiram kapatid ko at di sanay.... ending over speeding or wrong estimate, plus there's the dct and sa isip ko 1m does not hurt much as 1.3 if ever di siya durable in the future, though it is selling like hot cakes, meaning dadami spare parts.

    wala pa ako balak mag dct... sa ecosport buti na lang di ako kumuha dati.

    Yes, Pañero, traditional aisin 4at lang po ang mg zs, hence bullet proof.

    Don't call me sir, pantay pantay po tayo
