For the pickup po, interesting suggestion pero kasi sanay na kami na may cargo space sa likod (hehe...although pwede naman palagyan ng cover).

For Jimny, mejo ayaw ni wifey kasi masyadong boxy..although I would have to agree na maganda ang tindig and ample space naman

Again thank you po ulit! Godbless!
With your kind of budget, I would choose any pickup over any compact crossover. Depende sa mabibili mong pickup, minsan mas mura pa ang maintenance cost ng pick up kaysa sa mga crossover... need cargo space sa likod? a good camper shell or even a roller lid would do the job. I am also from the East area (Rizal) and pag ganitong tag ulan, ang sarap gamitin ng Pick up namin (NP300). Di ko problema ang baha sa diosdado macapagal bridge as well as baha sa ibang parts ng marcos hiway. HTH!

What would be your choice in terms of:

    1) Long term reliability
    2) Space
    3) Maintenance Costs and Interval
    4) Safety
    5) Vs other similarly-priced crossovers

    Thanks!
The MG looks good. But despite the English badge, it is basically a Chinese car. Looks promising with a rising population on the streets, but I'd wait a few more years before considering one.

The Suzuki is also quite well received in the market. Rides pretty low though. If you are looking for ground clearance and wading depth in this segment, the Ecosport or Rush might be your only choices.

Pickup is a viable option provided the bed is of use to you. Otherwise, you will be driving a Hiace or Grand Starex sized vehicle that can only seat 5 passengers with a cargo area spanning half the vehicle exposed to the elements and your stuff banging around if they are too small, or not properly secured.

Base Innova perhaps? If you don't mind driving a manual.

sa ganitong segment, resale value na lang tigtignan ko so it's either the Rush or the Jimny. sa panahon ngaun kahit HRV na Honda, wale ng resale value gaso na mas malak sa vios eh, sigurado na gas guzzler na kasi ang segment na yan

Hahaha. Never been 1 to worry about what's thought of my thoughts. I've reasons for being all for this, OB sir. Rigid axle, ladder frame, RWD based real 4x4, easy to use, abuse & maintain. The bonus? It'll hold value...something I don't really give a hoot about. Need I say more?1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other?

Lagi lang din ako mag-isa kaya wala pa ako feedback from any passenger..
Pero wala eh, di talaga makukuha lahat ng gusto and sa budget ko di kaya mag-H & M. Hehe 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other?.. Main objective ko naman is safety lalo na new driver lang din ako.. Rear Cam, front and rear sensors plus 10inch android para sa waze ko laking tulong. 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other?

Depende din sa katawan ang aircon capacity ng car... pag medyo nasa overweight ka, i think magkaka problem ka if hindi todo ang aircon lalo na sa noontime... most car can cooldown the car even on summer days in dessert area...

Also, dependa talaga yan sa specifications nyo with regard sa choice of the car... tapos after checking the specs, check the budget if pasok, if not then check back again sa specs if ano pwede ma tanggal then decide... 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other? basta maganda interior ng mazda cx5 compared sa crv... hahaha! 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other?

Bruh, pag bago car lang siguro? Pero if mga 2-3years na pwede natin i advise to check their aircon system first (baka need na ng cleaning or palit filter) then saka na tayo sa katawan magpa check... 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other? what you think bruh?

And this can be true, just like sa office... lamig na lamig kana pero yung katabi mo, kumakain pa ng dumstick di parin nilalamig... 1.1M or less crossover options - MG ZS vs Suzuki Vitara or other?

my thoughts had always been, "don't have them clean the aircon, until it don't cool anymore".

well, after over 13 years of regular use, i finally thought, i should have my aircon opened and cleaned, already.
well, i did, and it was clean as a whistle!

BTT: among the two, vitara will have my vote. For the reason na new pa lang si MG sa pinas...
