June 2nd, 2006 03:30 AM #11Civic for me, iba dating nito compared sa Jazz. Ang Civic kasi pwede pang formal or casual, unlike jazz awkward dalin pag may semi-formal or formal occasions kasi mashadong pambata ang itsura-- bagay ang jazz kung student ka pa, pero kung working ka na, mas okay talaga Civic.

Doesn't the 1.5 go at 11-13 km/l mixed driving conditions and 13-15 km/l in pure high way driving?
So the 1.8 Civic does this as well??

Officially, as per EPA fuel economy numbers, the new 1.8 actually gets better mileage than the 1.5. 40 mpg highway versus 38 mpg.
But in practice, the 1.5 still seems to be more fuel efficient. But the 1.8 is amazingly efficient for a 1.8, and driven with a light foot, it can get up to 17-18 km/l. I think the better gearing and aerodynamics make it much better on the highway, although the 1.5 is probably still more fuel efficient when thrashed. (14 km/l at speeds of 140-160 km/h... amazing)
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
