stock. stick to stock. no mods, for the reasons stated previously. the sentra with the flashy red and black paintjob appears to be a carburated model., not EFI.. what this means for the newbie motorist, i do not really know.. but from experience, the fuel-injected engine seems to be more maintenance-free...

Yung Lynx 1.6A/T ang tunay na malakas sa gas. Ang 1.6M/T hindi naman ganon katindi.

Sa B14 Sentra, ang Super Saloon, Super Touring and GTS ang may 1.6 engine and all power amenities. Some of these also have 4 wheel disc brakes, ABS and airbags. EX Saloon naman 1.4 engine, newer ones have power amenities but older ones do not.

I still find the Lynx superior than the Sentra. Four years model age difference ng dalawa. Much more modern car for similar price? Definitely. Magkano ba talaga ang budget mo? Remember I said prices are very negotiable especially with online ads. A 150k car can most likely be negotiated to 120-130k, especially if the owner is in a dire need of money or is in a hurry to dispose of the car.

Pwede talaga tumawad! Walang bumibili ng 2nd hand na di tumatawad! Parang bumili ka sa Tutuban o 168 at di ka humingi ng last price. :hysterical: I remember back in 2000 when we bought the '97 Accord. Price was negotiated from 560k to 500k. Ang 160k, unless the ad says otherwise, should be able to be negotiated by at least 10k.

Fuel consumption and maintenance cost for 1.6L EFI compact cars of this era are actually pretty much the same. I suggest getting the newer one for lesser problems (generally). Better to spend more for a better, newer car than spend less and then continue spending for replacement of expensive suspension parts...

Huwag na yung '96 Civic. Pinapakita na sayo mga 2000 and above eh!
