when i sold my sentra, my office colleague was interested.
i priced it to sell to him. i had initially wanted to ask for 120K, but for him,
    "70K. kunin mo nah!"
    kinuha niya.

With my 2014 Fiesta Ecoboost, my asking was 450k. An officemate offered me 400k so I gave it away.

Depende na din. As someone who has sold an "old" car (more than 15 years old), I did lower my sell price from the "market value". We were asking around 200k php for the Revo Diesel MT GLX. Low ball tawad nakuha namin was 130k.

Talked to my dad since I was selling it for him, and we sold it around 150k.

Now someone who was asking 200k for his Xtrail, low ball tawad was 120k but eventually may buyer na tumawad around 140k, di niya binenta.

The similarity between the two, we didn't want to keep on maintaining the car so on my end, I explained to my dad na yung price to renew LTO, hassle of keeping the car in good running condition to actually sell it was more of a hassle already so tinanggap.

In the end, I would suggest sa buyer lang naman, kung reasonable naman tawad as your own "buffer" for repairs, sellers could agree kasi meron naman sellers na iniintindi din situation. hehe!

for some folks, it's not the sight of money. it's the sight of that empty parking space, just in time for the new car...
or the scenario of the atty inton-esques...
    heh heh.

so how was your experience, shifting from accord to fiesta?
heart-rending ba, or a welcome breath of fresh air?
