Mayron year 2005 model as low at 300k, or it ranges from 300k to 350k?
Meron ding 2008 model na 430k ang price? or 2004 that sells 280k?...and all these are still negotiable.

It maybe FC...but kung FC di po ba mas malakas yung crv and xtrail? or same lang din sila.
even yung outlander same yr model mas mataas yung resale value sa kanya..

Or sa maintenance and available parts sa market..bihira yung mechanic and mahal at mahirap makakuha ng parts?

Thanks for your reply in advance...

2.0L displacement + 4AT = not good fuel consumption + Ford brand + parts perceived not readily available or quite expensive. Ditto poor resale value.

Oo nga I don't get it bakit ganyan magisip mga pinoy about sa ford.
i have a friend na bumili ng montero instead of ford everest pero gusto nya talaga everest dahil daw lakas sa diesel everest pero when we bought an everest hindi naman eh.
Xbrand or ford?

Mababa talaga resale neto. We sold our 54tkms old '03 Escape 2.0XLT 4x4 A/T for 300k, and that is considered a very good price already. 2.0A/T models have very bad fuel consumption, almost rivaling the V6 already. Heavy body+130hp engine+A/T means its both inefficient and sluggish. On average, ours got only around 5-6km/L, minsan bumababa pa dun kung matindi ang traffic. On the other hand, the '06 Tribute 2.3L that replaced it gets 7km/L and above even.

If you are getting one for keeps, it is an excellent car to have. Very, very solid underpinnings, excellent ride comfort and handling, wonderful engine note, punchy engine (assuming you get the 2.3L or 3.0L). Like the Grand Vitara, the 4x4 version is actually capable off road too, unlike the city-minded sissies which are the CRV and Rav4. In terms of parts and maintenance cost, it is actually similar to the Japanese competition, contrary to popular belief.

What may be the reasons that seconhand escapes are selling very cheap?
