Perhaps it is now time to invest in a K&N air filter and various other engine mods?
AHA... kaya pala.... ito pala yung dahilan hehehe:

Tama yung sinabi ng lahat ng previous posters. Ingay wise negligible increase sya from stock kasi maingay na Isuzu namin from the beginning pero pag malinis yun filter rinig pati yung whirring sound ng turbo pag nag spool up. Power may gains naman pero minimal at best. Yun talaga medyo abala lang maglinis ng filter pag madumi na. HTH

    AND THIS...

Sa Casa ang quote nila ay 8k to 9k to perform all these activities...
Sa items for replacement maybe there are ways to know if they really have done replacement pero ang big question ko ay dun sa ITEMS FOR INSPECTION...Kaya kaya nila itong ma-check for the whole day?...i mean really check????
Kung magaling mekaniko or katuld ko lang dumiskarte sa check-up (it helps if you know what you are doing) kaya yan ng 1 day ah. Inspect lang kasi yan muna, note mo lang kung may play/minor problem tapos reco yan if for replacement/clean/adjust or pwede pa naman but hindi na magtatagal. As you can see, inspect lang naman. Maganda niyan bro andun ka para yung mga madadali gawin ikaw na mag-inspect. kelangan lang lifter talag para maganda. kapag hindi mo yan bantayan, malamang hindi ma-check lahat eh. Sayang punta mo. Kahit casa pa yan.

I see... Thanks for the Tip sir Ry, I take note on that... I do agree, I really need to watch if they really have check the items...yang pag babantay na yan di ko magagawa sa casa yan dahil hindi ata nila pinapapasyal yung customers inside the work area... sa case ko if I would have to pay something, I deserve to see what's been done... so in the process I would also learn how they do things...
So far I have received two quotations already:
    - Casa at 8-9k
    - Spxxxyfxx at 16k...hihihi

    1. I called many advertisers, visited a few, and satisfied my expectations for some 2001 to 2003 models...which made us decide to raise our budget a bit and take a higher model...

    2. I've been to a bank's repossessed vehicle warehouse just to check a 2008 sportivo unit with:

    • a 38k (more or less) mileage in the odo,
    • but with a broken antenna,
    • a dashboard without the audio-video player,
    • Headrests without TV monitors (probably the previous owners way of venting his anger upon receiving notice from the bank....hahaha hula ko lang yun ha),
    • a sagging front bumper with a noticeable dent (you'll only notice it when you stare at the chrome portion for a few minutes)...hehehe,
    • then another dent at the roof portion...
    • wala na yung tools, jack and early warning signage (i am not sure of the exact term for this item)
    • I don't know what else was there to surprise me...but at a selling price of 700k... we were tempted to take the unit after some thoughts that we would need to bring it back to shape for another 50k or 80k...we'll we slept on for a few days before deciding not to grab that unit thinking the price deserved to be much lower since we have no real idea what was the condition of the engine and transmission... kahit pa 38k lang ang odo...puwedeng isabotahe ng previous owner yung unit para lang makaganti... malay mo baka kung ano-anong binuhos sa makina at baka pati yung transmission pinaglaruan pa to such a point na apektado ang pressure plate whohohohooo.... tumatagingting na PHP xxx,xxx.00 na naman in additon pa dun sa cosmetic and entertaintment restoration + sakit pa ng ulo... I'll share the pics of this car from the bank later...para may idea kayo.
Guys... check out these pics... if you're thinking of repossessed cars.. though...expect the worst.

Naku kawawa ng Sportivo na yan... Cinannibalize talaga ng previous owner bago na repossess. :hysterical: "Clean engine bay" pa talaga eh noh?

Mukhang ang dami ka pang igagastos ka pa sa XTi mo ah, considering the extensive list you provided. Ano ba yung mileage nun? I'd suggest the K&N air filter because as you may have read, Sir SlickRic has been VERY satisfied with it, setting aside the minor hassle of having to clean the the filter approximately once a week. Cruising at 100km/h * 5th gear, 2900rpm is very, very good for a Crosswind.

Hehehe... sir GTi, I just listed down all activities for the 80,000 PMS as per Owner's Manual...actually madami lang yung inspection work, gusto ko lang kasing matingnan at malaman if those activities could really be covered in one day by the CASA dahil di naman kasi talaga natin ito nakikita dahil prohibited ang customers dun sa working bays nila...
Ang naisip ko kasi ang actual lang na ginagawa talaga nila ay yung replacement ng fluids at since yung inspection items are hidden from your view... di naman kasi natin malalaman kung nagawa talaga nila yun, di ba sir GTi?... by the way my XTi has already run 78km.

Hmmmm.... hehehe, very tempting talaga although for now di ko siguro gagalawin yung stock kasi its actually performing well,...above my expectations ( ang baba lang kasi ng level of satisfaction ko hahaha) kidding aside, im happy the way it runs... maganda ang naging takbo ko nung binyahe ko ng tagaytay, i don't find it sluggish...

Yung K&N filter replacement, pagaaralan ko muna at maybe pagdating na lang siguro ng 120km ko i-implement yun... siguro by that time ready na ako sa mga engine mods hahaha... dito muna REGULAR PMS and a little cosmetic improvements...
For now... tires muna ang papalitan ko...

Hats off talaga ako sayo, very detailed person talaga!

Siguro maganda din talaga ang pagka-break-in ng Crosswind mo kaya maganda ang takbo. According to Sir SlickRic, his friend's unmodified Crosswind which was meticulously broken-in, has performance that is at par with his Simota Crosswind and can easily reach 150km/h.

78000kms?! Whoa~ Sulit na sulit ah! Means its ran around 8000kms more than our 9 year old Trooper.

Looking at the pics you posted, your car looks pretty good. Cosmetic accessories? IMHO I find nothing lacking with the exterior na, and perhaps you can post some interior pics? The only thing I can think of that is worth adding is a roof rack. Huwag kayo sana sumobra dito sa exterior at baka sa sobrang blinged up ng kotse naging ricey na ang dating. And... you might want to have an engine wash.

Hehehe... detailed ba?hahaha, its comes in my line of work...,

As per previous owner, an isuzu manager from santa rosa plant, it was broken in well...he did shared to me how it was broken-in but I was overwhelmed with excitement when we test drove the unit and was not paying attention to the details on the stages of rpm usage he was mentioning... hahaha, typical me... anyway, the thing is I am satisfied with its acceleration when doing short sprints...or am i just too biased hahaha...

Well, I really don't mind the mileage as long as it was in good running and sprinting state and no strange sounds...so in math:
    *Model 2007 = 3years
    *78,000km divided by 3years = 26,000km/year
    *26,000km/year divided by 365days = 71.23km/day
hahaha... yeah its like taking a daily roundtrip (40km/way) from Alabang to Tagaytay via daang-hari then aguinaldo and vice-versa.

    Okay... here you go..

The only thing I can think of that is worth adding is a roof rack.
minimal cosmetic lang like door guard or bumper...small or the tiny thing lang...ayokong magmukhang technicolor yung motiff...I'd still like to maintain its blackness...something like the Classic black you wear for formal functions hahaha...
And you mentioned the Rack...o yes the Rack... I almost forgot... I badly needed that one...a roof rack, actually its already on my list.. I want the blank one...(Carryboy at Shark na lang pinagpipilian ko due to cost constraints hehehe)... then later on the Bike Rack at the rear.

Huwag kayo sana sumobra dito sa exterior at baka sa sobrang blinged up ng kotse naging ricey na ang dating.
Pramis... I won't add anything more... after the Tire change, Roofrack, Bike rack, rear view camera (hmmm wish ko na lang ito...later)...

And... you might want to have an engine wash.
Yes, I would have wanted to bring it to the carwash but hesitated and thought that I may just have to do it myself na lang siguro... They might be careless in spraying water and everything into it that will lead to problems later...hehehe, akala mo naman parang may ECU yung crosswind hahaha..pero just the same, I would like to do this tomorrow... not the car wash
