i am planning to buy a 2ndhand car.
so i wonder what i need for it.
how can i process in order to change of ownership??
do i need to get some papers from the car owner or need get some papers from other places?
by the way, i am a forigner.
and yet, i didn't get the driving lisence. Is it possible that i could buy a car without driving lisence?
i just wanna buy a car first and get driving lisence.
is it possible??

and give me some advice that my budjet is around 100k, which car is good for me? it's my first car. i just dont wanna buy expensive one.
by the way , i am a forigner.

Simple. You can't drive without a license. But if you chose to drive without having one, you could be apprehended and pay the fines and do the stuff.
BTW, A nissan lec or a corolla small body fits within your budget.
What should you be careful of ? Flooded cars.
To make sure that the car is in good running shape, bring your ol' trusty mechanic with you to check the vehicle.

October 31st, 2009 08:34 AM #7Hi Renzo, I'm a complete noob with cars so I'm planning to buy a car or an owner jeep around 30k-50k.
I have a driver's licence but I'm wondering what other things aside from cash and license are needed? How does 2nd-had car selling/buying works?
Is there a way to know if the papers are clean? Someone told me for cheap cars, transfer of ownership is not needed, only the deed of sale will do plus the receipt of registration with a "paid by" remark.
