ill do this if i were schumi on a little toyota hehe sori ot

i did 175kph on a ZZ altis, 150kph on a 1.5 vios 2nd gen. the difference the stability of the two are extremely far apart. iba talaga pakiramdam ko sa vios that day, i even drop to 100kph and stay at there, parang liliparin talaga pag 120 up

I`d pick the city. Ewan ko, siguro nagsasawa na rin ako sa pagtingin sa vios sa daan.

In the real world given the HP and TQ values of the engine (especially with a 1.3-1.5L car), SOHC vs DOHC is probably negligible (case in point: yung 1.8L civic has one of the highest performance ratings for a similar-displacement SOHC engine)

In lieu of the topic at hand though, the 1.5L vios engine will really pack more absolute punch than the city's. What remains to be seen/quantified is how much more punch does it pack, and whether or not the displacement drastically affects fuel consumption, engine responsiveness and so on.

Care to quantify this? (I'm not trying to start anything - I myself am not sure of this and would like to find out)

Sir yung 1.3 ng City, kahit pa sabihin mong 100 hp yan, mas similar parin ang everyday performance sa 1.3 Vios kaysa sa 1.5 Vios. Yung 100 hp kasi na yan mostly available at high revs, so to actually get the City moving considerably faster than the Vios you have to push it. Unless redline driving ka lagi, you wont get performance that's quite close to the 1.5 Vios. :D
