Guys, just wanna get your opinion about these two cars. Ano ba mas okay? Naguguluhan kasi ako dito sa dalawang to, although may konting idea ako kung ano ang mas okay sa kanila pero gusto ko pa din sana magkaron ng 2nd opinion coming from people na mas madaming alam pagdating sa cars.

Saw some ads on facebook about Hyundai Eon which around 200~250k na mukang okay pa nagustuhan ko talaga to dahil sa madali siyang pormahan and sobrang tipid "daw" sa gas, syempre di ko masasabi since never pa ko nakatry ng isa sa mga to. Suzuki Celerio ads on marketplace got my attention which has a price of 299k, and affordable financing scheme. In picture muka pa naman siyang bago and smooth, hindi ko lang sure sa performance, pero planning to visit the unit na din. But before that, kukuha lang muna ako ng idea at opinion nyo about these two cars.

Advantages, disadvantages, bakit dapat si Suzuki Celerio at bakit dapat si Hyundai Eon ang piliin ko. Any thoughts and ideas? Sorry, I know some of you notices me na sobrang daming question dito sa thread, but I just wanna make sure na tama yung magiging decision ko when buying my first ever car specially dahil 2nd unit yung plano kong kunin. Thanks guys!

perhaps if you got into each one and got a feel of things... test-drive if you will..
some things can not be read about.. they can only be experienced.
for example, "which car offers a more spacious inside" ?
and don't limit it to the front seats.
    "passengers", you know...

    now... if you ask me,
    my recommendation is "something japanese".
    not korean. not indian.
it has something to do with (my) perceived build quality and ease of repair and maintenance.
remember: this is a used car here. it will probably need some repair, as it's not brand new anymore.

My advice would be to pick w/c has the most safety features?

I do have to ask, why finance a second hand car? Why not just go for a brandnew car? Ganun din naman eh, magbabayad ka buwan-buwan.

I just can't afford brand new car with M/A around 11k. Ito kasing Suzuki Celerio na nakita ko is around 69k (all in dp) + 8.7k monthly for 36 months, OR 7k monthly for 48month. 299k siya in cash (negotiable) pero naisip ko na if imamaximize ko yun budget ko to buy in cash, eh baka wala na din akong pang gas at pang repair kung sakaling may kailangan pang ipaayos.

Sa brand new naman, ayaw kasi namin ni misis ng masyadong malaking monthly, hindi namin mabibigyan ng budget yung maintenance and gas for sure.

One reason why I include Eon is because, madaling pormahan, mura lang yung maintenance as per Hyndai Eon PH Club members, and since newbie lang ako pagdating sa car, I guess okay na muna ito pansamantala, daily service lang naman and konting out of town.

Nanghihinayang lang ako kasi konting addtl nalang, pwede na ko kumuha ng mas magandang specs na unit. Kaya nag-aalangan din ako talaga dito kay Eon.

I guess, this vote is for Suzuki Celerio.

Yes thats the thing I'm anxious about. What if may kailangan ipaayos? Remember these are used cars. Try to put the "pormahan" aside first and make sure the car is really alright. Major car problems come up after 5 years (usually just right after the warranty expires). Then you also have to get insurance for these dahil naka-mortage right? Perhaps you should think this through first.

If we purchase the car, I will bring trusted mechanic naman to check the unit also, the model 2017 lang. So i guess okay pa naman siya. Inaavoid ko din kasi tumingin ng car na 5years old and up. Anyway, yea. I have to consider the insurance too. Kaya nagaalangan din ako talaga. Don't know what to do, but really want a car tho.

Anyway, with regards to "porma" factor, not really necessary. Just wanna get a basic car to help us from our daily transportation.

I think the Celerio is bigger (please correct me if I'm wrong here)

Basically, since both are 2017 models... palagi mong tanungin sarili mo... bakit binebenta na agad yung car?

    Plan bumili ng bago?
    Kulang na garage ng owner?
Di kaya maintenance + daily expenses of owning a car?
    Mag abroad yung may ari?

second... paano ginamit yung car? highway ba sya everyday or city driving?

and paano/saan mo gagamitin yung car?

All things being equal, my vote goes to the Celerio.

This is another thing na nacucurious ako since bayan seller yung nagbebenta, and mostly yung mga Suzuki Celerio A/T or M/T which is 2016 to 2017 model na nakikita ko sa ads puro bayan seller din nagbebenta.

The main reason why I want to get a car is just because of our daily transpo plus konting out of town with misis dahil goal talaga namin is makapagtravel once in a while. Wala pa naman kaming anak kaya mas gusto ko maginvest na muna ng car habang maaga pa.

Isang option ko is to get a motorcycle, however, my wife really don't like having a motorcycle since it is prone to accident. Sobrang dami na kasi ng accident ngayon sa mga motor, nakakatakot na.
