February 26th, 2018 09:21 AM #41my personal motto in buying used cars, is "buy the most expensive you can honestly afford. it will probably cost less to bring it up to snuff, over buying a cheaper and, presumably, less-maintained car that you will spend much more money to repair..."

Nagtatake ako ngayon ng driving lessons for manual sedans. So far pinagamit saken Vios, Mirage at 2010 na Altis. Ramdam ko malayong mas comfortable yung Altis. Yung mirage parang nawawala yung gas minsan, so kelangan pindutin ulit. Although malambot yung clutch ng mirage.
Yung Vios, mano mano yung sa side mirror eh, so baka J trim? Not sure ano mga year pero based on looks, it should be also less then 10 yrs old.
Also noticed, yung Altis malayong mas maluwang. Question, sa budget ko, so far nakikita ko ay 2006 or 07 na Altis AT. Eto po ba yung na-mention na masikip? Or yung mga pre-Altis corolla iyon?

December 6th, 2018 07:40 PM #50While the ZZ Altis may not be the most spacious compact sedan, it would still be more spacious than the Vios.
In my experience, bigger displacement manuals are typically easier to operate than smaller displacement manuals. There is less "timpla" involved. Even more so if you get a diesel, wherein the car will start creeping forward once you let go of the clutch.
Not considering an Accent CRDi? You'd be over the moon with the fuel savings and huge torque.
