LOL, the classic "stage 1 set-up" answer. :D
Don't forget to put gas first.
On a serious note, do first the basic maintenance service routine after buying a second hand car: change all fluids (oil, coolant, power steering fluid, gear oil), oil/fuel/air filter, tune-up (timing and spark plugs), clean the brakes, check the hoses and belts, clean the MAF sensor, TB, etc...
