November 22nd, 2011 12:26 AM #6210-20k a week? So 40-80k a month? Ganun ba? Marami na yan ah! You'd save up a lot in no time as long as you know how to save. Mayaman naman pala eh. Who am I kidding? Sinong di mayaman na nakakapasok ng pilot school? Hindi pantay yang konsumo ng dalawa. Siguro pantay ang konsumo niya sa 1.6L Mazda 3. But it all depends on the way you drive and the traffic conditions kaya walang tiyak na sagot diyan. Basta your driving skills reflect your flying skills ha? And don't drive like you're in a plane!

November 22nd, 2011 12:32 AM #63wahahaha, mahirap lang kami, nagbenta lang kami ng apat na kalabaw at tatlong kambing para makapagflying. wahahahaahahahaha!! di nga steady savings ko eh, worst comes to worst minsan pa nga 5k a week eh. hahaha, kung talaga sobra sa malas, Kaya ko naman magipon pa, 400k 450k so on and so forth, pero naisip ko, hagang saan? hagang di na ko bibili ng damit to save for a car worth 800? 700? 600?. Kaya Im puting up a limit. Im giving limits to my budget, para hagang dun lang, Kung ano mang car yun, I'll love it. First car eh. Napakasentimental ko pa naman. )

November 22nd, 2011 12:42 AM #65Hoy hindi mura ang apat na kalabaw at tatlong kambing ha! 5k a week is still a lot for a student, IMHO. Kung sabihin nating laging worst case scenario at may 20k ka nasave for a month. Some people feed their whole family with their 20k monthly salary na. Kaya kaya yan! Best for me is to ipon a wee bit more and get a stock and good condition SiR, yun collectible yan. Kahit ba naman 10-15 years from now ilabas mo yan people will respect it as a classic. Baka in the long run tataas pa resale value niyan.
*bro SiRbossR: OK yan ah. Ganon ka galing ang FC ng Lynx RS? Even the FD Civic, being known for fuel economy, had some difficulty with that. Under what conditions ba?

November 22nd, 2011 12:48 AM #67*GTi: Mahal ba yun? feeling ko kasi Isang kambing = 7k = 1hr flying time, so ibig sabihin pala kailangan ko magbenta ng more than 200 na kambing! wahahahahaha. Feeling ko kasi grabe na sa mahal ang SiR alone, and what is an SiR without the rims, sound set up and nice interior diba? hehehehe. Feeling ko Ok din yung lynx eh. )) Or vti nalang kaya talaga? the best of the best na Vti? hahahaha

well, highway in general. hehe. sa bumper to bumper traffic, the ph16 maybe for about 1-2km/L. hmm the Civic FD lalo na ung 1.8s drinks gas just as what a diesel 3.2 Montero would. around 5km/l on City driving yung friend ko and that's a girl ha. she's very conscious about fuel economy. on the highway naman she gets 10-11km/l daw.

November 22nd, 2011 01:29 AM #70Iba talaga kapag mayaman. Iba ang tingin sa pera. The Ford Lynx RS is a very nice car. You can get a newer car for lesser money and its got ABS/EBD and dual airbags. Its also much more stable than the EK Civic in high speeds and possesses all the qualifications to be a future classic/cult car like the SiR. Only thing I'm concerned about is the gas consumption in bumper to bumper traffic conditions. Pero since manual transmission naman, siguro mas makakatipid ka ng kaunti. Yun nga lang mas matipid talaga ang EK Civic.
Compared to the EK, ang kokonti ng nagbebenta!
