gusto ko lang share yung transfer of ownership ng car ko kakabili ko lang kasi last dec08. so this month ko lang sya pinatransfer pero pinalakad ko sa friend ko. humingi sya sa akin 3500 plus pang gas nya ng 300.ok na ba yun?
hindi kaya yun masyadong mahal? yung original cr nakaregister yung car sa taguig. sabi nya sa pnp clearance gagastos na daw ng 1300 plus no show ng car? tapos maglagay pa sa hepe.. sa las pinas po ako.

sigurado mahal ba yung 3500??? sabi pa nga nya nasa 4500 na daw ngayon mag lakad ng papers for transfer of ownership. actually hindi ko lang sya friend kasamahan ko pa sya sa church namin. pero sa 3500 meron na syang share dun d ba???

actually nasa akin na yung CR its under my name na. actually i have time naman to go there kasi housewife ako eh la naman ako ginagawa dito sa house... for registration me na lang maglakad..

Hitman and the guys who requested yung procedures ng change of ownership (as i have been through last wednesday):

a) Kuha ng request for change of ownership clearance sa TMG.
b) Bayaran yung fee (200 pesos) sa landbank branch. landbank will issue receipt and validates the clearance request form.
c) balik ka ng tmg.
d) pakita mo yung clearance request tsaka yung receipt from landbank
e) pa stencil mo motor and chassis
f) submit stenciler's report sa physical inspection. (under TMG-Crimelab)
g) parak assigned sa Crimelab will make macro-etching report
h) after completion of macro-etching report, submit report to clearance area.
i) wait for clearance release (eto eh kung may padulas ka). pag wala, go get your clearance after 3 days. ( i made lagay na dahil hindi na ako makakaabsent ulit after 3 days)
j) after release of clearance, tapos na. you have to use the clearance within 10 days. dahil 10 days lang vailidity nya. meaning, you have to go to LTO to perform a change of ownership within 10 days.

average time of procedure : 3 hours. can be lower. na late kasi yung chief ng tmg sa patts last wednesday eh. baka na traffic sa baclaran.

registration with change of ownership procedure (should be done at lto branch where vehicle is previously registered, in my case, i went from tmg-pasay to manila south, which is lampas ng pedro gil, manila - san marcelino corner nakpil street)

a) have your car stencilled (again)
b) have your insurance (tpl) certificate validated
c) submit documents, including receipts of landbank (for clearance), smoke emission certificate, yung tmg request for clearance tsaka yung actual clearance. syempre, it should include the deed of sale and yung old or/cr.
d) after being found in order, ilalabas ng lto yung old vehicle file. ivavalidate yun ng inspector.
e) after validation, papers will be processed.
f) just wait until name is called sa cashier.
g) after name is called, pay cashier
h) wait for the new CR to be released
i) get stickers.

average time of procedure (alang lagay): 2.5 hours.

1. Yun plate number ng car is ending 9. Ask ko lng na pwede na ba ipa change owner na sa name ko at the same time ipa register?

2. May advantage ba i EARLY register yun car at i pa change ownership sa name ko agad?

3. Pwede ba na change ownership n muna tapos sa Sept. n me paregister?

4. Sabi nya ay first owner daw sila at nakapangalan sa mom nila yun car? How can we check it easily? Nasa OR CR ba yun ganun details?

5. Gusto ko i check bago bilhin yun car, bago rin me magbayad, . So how can we check it na di sya carnap-HOT car-may pending cases....TMG requires to bring the car (yta) or any means na magawa ko ito para iwas hassle

6. 5000 K hingi skin sa register ng 2000 model na honda di pa daw kasama register ng car dun?

7. Sa cavite area ako. san kaya yun place na malapit para ma check kung di hot car yun car....

8. Kasi nag oofer sya n ipapalakad na lng nya yun pag asikaso ng transfer..Gusto ko sana ipasama yun pinsan ko paa ma check yun details ng pag aasikaso ng pag transfer ng ownership..

2. May advantage ba i EARLY register yun car at i pa change ownership sa name ko agad? i see no outright adv maliban na lang kung lagi ka busy and ngaun ka may time. still, hanggang 1 month before lang pwede and advance reg

3. Pwede ba na change ownership n muna tapos sa Sept. n me paregister? eto po lang dapat talaga pwede mo gawin sa ngayon

4. Sabi nya ay first owner daw sila at nakapangalan sa mom nila yun car? How can we check it easily? Nasa OR CR ba yun ganun details? yes but not always sir. near the lower left portion ng CR, may nakalagay na "details of first registration:" tingnan mo kung may nakalagay ( pag meron, its a sign na baka hindi sila ang unang may ari. Also tingnan mo din ang date ng CR if it corresponds to the year of purchase of the vehicle. Still its not a 100% sure sign of change/transfer of ownership. The only sure way to check is to go directly to the LTO branch where the unit was first registered. It is here where they store all original and pertinent documents related to the vehicle

5. Gusto ko i check bago bilhin yun car, bago rin me magbayad, . So how can we check it na di sya carnap-HOT car-may pending cases....TMG requires to bring the car (yta) or any means na magawa ko ito para iwas hassle may mga LTO branches na may TMG/HPG na ngaun satellite office. Or you may go directly sa TMG/HPG and duon i pa macro-etching mo and get a clearance. USe this as a precondition of payment. Of course, gawin mo lang to kung desidido ka nang bilhin ung car para if ever cleared siya, o e di bayaran na kayo. Keep in mind lang na 7-10 days lang validity of said clearance. so kelangan ipa transfer mo na kaagad

6. 5000 K hingi skin sa register ng 2000 model na honda di pa daw kasama register ng car dun? did you mean "transfer"? medyo mataas po yan. pero minsan depende kasi kung malayo ung mother unit kung saan naduon ang main file e. IF DIY mga 2000-2500 lahat ng fees na gagastusin mo.

7. Sa cavite area ako. san kaya yun place na malapit para ma check kung di hot car yun car....Para less hassle, decide first if you really want the car. then kung gusto mo na talaga, then follow my advice sa #5

8. Kasi nag oofer sya n ipapalakad na lng nya yun pag asikaso ng transfer..Gusto ko sana ipasama yun pinsan ko paa ma check yun details ng pag aasikaso ng pag transfer ng ownership.. ah wag ka papayag kasi mawawalan ka ng control sa sitwasyon. Besides sa kaniya mapupunta ang original DOS, OR, CR. e paano kung bigla ka niya baligtarin at sabihing di ka pa bayad at kinarnap mo ung auto niya. altho worst case scenario yan. gaya nga ng sabi mo, ayaw mo ng hassle di ba?

- pwede din, pero much better yung #1 item, para isang lakaran na lang.

May question rin po ako tungkol sa pagbili ng second hand cars.

1. Kelangan ba may transfer of ownership na upon renewal of registraion? kasi iniisip ko na baka pwedi nalang di ko na baguhin ownership at ang renewal nalang ng registration gagawin ko.

2. Kung bibili ng 2nd owned car( bale 3rd na owner na ako) na from Metro Manila at dadalhin sa Mindanao ang Car, sa pagprocess ba ng renewal of registration ay kelangan pa sa Manila(which the car was last registered)? Kahit Yes or No ang sagot ng question number 1? Kasi ang nalaman ko ay kahit saan pedi na iparenew ang sasakyan basta computerized lang daw yung OR/CR.

3. kung pang 3rd owner na ako, ano ang kelangan ko pa kunin na documents from second owner except dun sa mga namention na
ID with signature from first owner, OR/CR at DOS?

Ideally kasi dapat pagbili mo ng car, transfer mo na kaagad sa iyo. pero dito kasi sa atin uso ang open deed of sale e. It's your choice but the right thing to do is have it processed immediately not that there is something gravely wrong if you choose otherwise

2. Kung bibili ng 2nd owned car( bale 3rd na owner na ako) na from Metro Manila at dadalhin sa Mindanao ang Car, sa pagprocess ba ng renewal of registration ay kelangan pa sa Manila(which the car was last registered)? Kahit Yes or No ang sagot ng question number 1? Kasi ang nalaman ko ay kahit saan pedi na iparenew ang sasakyan basta computerized lang daw yung OR/CR. no sir. tama ka basta computerized and OR/CR pwede na kahit saan ( maliban na lang sa Subic,Cebu and other notorious places where rampant smuggling and/or LTO anomalies is the norm). But if in the end, you will have the car transferred to your name, you might have to bring the car back to Manila/or the LTO branch where the car was first registered.
