We're assuming no casa with their stocks of brand new cars was submerged underwater. Example the Honda, Toyota, Kia and one more I cannot recall (Nissan?) now is in QC Avenue right beside a creek. Good thing about Honda is their new cars are way up there in the (3rd? 4th?) higher floors. What about the other casa? Those in the display room?

    Buy a 2010 model.......para sure.....

Buying flood-damaged cars became a big worry in the US after Hurricane Katrina and other similar disasters. Buti na lang mabilis gumalaw mga car reviewers doon, kaya eto mga web sites kung saan tayo makakakuha ng tips para di maloko ng mga walang modong used car dealer:

    http://www.edmunds.com/advice/buying...3/article.html
    http://www.fraudguides.com/auto-flood-damage-cars.asp
    http://www.ehow.com/how_5487319_tell...od-damage.html

Although these were written for the US market, there are a lot of useful tips that can be applied here.

this is why I'm so apprehensive to buy a 2nd hand car. But I really need to buy a car na this year. Have saved enough (200k) for either DP or finance a 2nd hand 350k car. haggard!
