Save more money muna. it's not practical to buy the vti. remember, its a 15yr old car having 15yr old car problems. Lalo na if it's a high miler.

If you're only travelling less than 10kms a day, then a motorcycle or a scoot would be a better choice until you can save up for a better car.

A macho and sporty motorcycle will look cooler. like a motard, cruise bike or those circuit type bikes (ie CBR, Ninja, R15)

or buy a Honda CB400 nalang

x2 on the comments of Niky.

Just to comment though, a 14 year old Civic, Corolla, even if its pimped up, wont fill the requirement of "yabangan, fitting in or social requirement" that's perceived in your line of work or by others. If that is a must for you, then the big bike suggestion of others might be a better option to fill that need.

Check this thread out for some reference :D : http://tsikot.com/forums/goon-squad-...ld-cars-84471/

My advice is to still wait and save until you have steady income from a steady job. When that comes, getting your dream ride will be much easier than you think, especially if you have your savings buffer intact. If your parents are working and saving hard to put you through school, do your part by keeping yourself in line and using that opportunity to save whatever cent you have. I once had a co-worker who used to model on the side and yes the money is easy... when you have projects that is. Eventually he did have to sell his car and work abroad to sustain his wants when his projects dried up.

Teka baka 500CC or up engine displacement niyan ha! takaw sa fuel yan hahaha.

Tsaka the faster you go, the more dramtic the accident. Yung Yamaha FZ16 na lang TS bilhin mo, sulit na sulit! It sucks kung tag-ulan but that will give you a reason to hitch a ride with a pretty and ***y co-model. :naughty:

Save you're money and pang-down mo na lang yan kapag may work ka na sa brand new car na hopefully eh company car plan pa para mas maliit cost sa'yo.

Or since model ka naman, get a sugar-mommy! FTW!!!! jk
Fasten your seatbelt! Or else... Driven To Thrill!

I see. But for you guys, what is more ideal to buy and setup, an old corolla or and old lancer?

Never mind the setup. The best thing to do for more angas is to change the rims and headlight bulbs and perhaps add the optional foglights, and that's it. Too much setup-ing makes the car look ricey, which is the exact opposite of "angas". For the image, take time and effort to look for an excellent condition post facelift '99-'00 Civic VTi, you may try to come up with a slightly higher budget while you're at it. '96-'97 Civics look really old, IMO. Better to spend a bit more for a car in good condition than to save a little and spend a lot for all eternity for a cheap car in bad condition. Good looking 2nd hand rims are easy to find in any roadside tire shop. Just don't try to make it too big or you'd be spending a lot for tires and sacrificing a lot in ride comfort. 16s would be good, 17s maximum. Best lights, for me, would be plasma xenon (kahit hindi tunay na buong HID conversion kit) sa main lights and then yellow dun sa fogs. And if you want it to go faster, consider an aftermarket air filter. And then stop there.

If you don't mind the downsizing, the City Type-Z is a great car to drive. Very economical and easy to maintain, perfect for the novice driver. Yun nga lang medyo downsize ng kaunti sa "angas factor". But the VTi variant, especially in manual form, is a very fast car. 115 horses in a sub-1000kg car? And then you can get a much newer car for the budget, probably up to the 2003 model will be within reach.

Between Corolla and Lancer naman... For your budget that will mean AE111 Corolla and pizza Lancer. Corolla would be the better choice since the Lancer is known for having kalampag in the suspension. Its also better kitted, but rather boring too. You may want to consider the Exalta though you may find it a bit too old-ish.

Yup, the FZ16 would be better until you can get a stable job

let me ask, what are your first mods that you plan to install in your so-to-be ride ba?
