At P600,000, what's the best BRAND NEW car to buy?

Kung automatic bibilhin mo, I suggest dagdag pa ng konti sa budget or go for almost-new 2nd hand subcompact. Besides, small engines and automatic transmissions do not make for a fuel efficient combo.

But as it is, I'd suggest the Kia Picanto. 599k for the 1.0L inline-3 A/T. Ibang klase talaga ang looks neto.

Maybe a City 1.5E or Jazz 1.5V. You can also get a bigger car from 2009 or younger (Civic or Altis or Lancer) with 600k. With a few thousand more, you can get a Ford Focus TDCi which is quite fuel efficient with its turbo diesel engine. Ingat nga lang sa mga flooded vehicles.

As mentioned, it'll be the best if you can find a top of the line City or Jazz. Papasok din sa budget mo ang top of the line Accent (before you ask, this is not the engine notorious for knocking issues!).

Kung maporma gusto mo, Jazz GE 1.5V ! Looks-wise, panalo pa rin ito over Mirage.

try the old model sentra MT or AT. the car is still available brand new, and is bigger and more spacious than the competition in this price bracket...

Kung kelangan brand new talaga.. i'd go for the Mitsubishi Mirage.. Fits all your criteria, A/T, Fuel efficient(must be kase CVT), below 600K ;)
