    If it's a choice between a City doing 8-9 km/L versus a Civic doing 7-8 km/L, it's a no brainer specially if you travel distances of less than 50km daily. That's a about a liter of gas difference in a day or around P50. That P50 savings will not make the City go quicker or drive better or be more comfortable than a Civic.

    we get salaried every 15/30days. a monthly comparison is more realistic

    Kindly avoid text speak (db, ms, mlks)... baka ma-ban ka.

    Depende sa type ng matic, pero in-general mas matipid ang manual vs matic, pero sa traffic within Greater Metro Manila Area... di bale ng mas malakas sa gas, mas relaxed naman akong magdrive.
    Walang kinalaman ang mileage sa FC, mas may bearing pa yung paraan kung paano minaintain yung sasakyan. Yung sinasabi nilang malakas kumonsumo ng gasolina kasi luma na, malamang yung may-ari nun eh hindi maayos magalaga ng sasakyan.

    What with the tax increase on fuel nowadays, it is prudent to get a more fuel efficient ride. Ever considered a diesel? Accent CRDi perhaps? Though more of an econobox as compared to the other choices, the fuel savings are huge.

    I saw a 2013 automatic unit selling for 485k. 4AT pa kaya though less fuel efficient pero less prone to problems as compared to the current 7DCT.

    CVTs are sometimes more efficient than Manual Transmission ... depends on the driver ...
