November 27th, 2010 11:17 PM #1Hi! need your opinion po:
Lancer 1997 GLXi - Automatic or Manual Transmission?
I want to get a second hand Lancer 1997-98 GLXi Pizza model, since used car na sya and medyo may age na rin ang car, which one kaya is a better choice? I'm a first time car owner (and driver - will still learn how to drive), setting aside comfort and on learning how to drive - Automatic or Manual transmission?
thanks!

November 28th, 2010 01:50 PM #3thanks sa inputs sir! actually mas gusto ko talaga manual (motorbike ko manual din ) napa-isip lang din kasi ako uli na, baka pag used car, kapag manual, baka daw kung baga gamit na gamit na sa limit ang engine like lagi ni-re-redline or pinang-race. wala din kasi ako kilala na mechanic, and sa online classifieds lang me naghahanap, kaya as in pag nagustuhan ko outside looks, and kaya ang price, yun na, meet up na to get the car.

Kung alaga ang car or better yet coming from car owners with multiple cars (thus less used ang mga cars) unless daily driving car nila yun ok rin ang second hand na car.
And for a little more you can get a circa 2000 car which will run better tha an older car. Plus better computer system, electrical, etc.
If you're a gear head an older car is nicer. Masarap kalikutin mga 12++ year old cars. Newer ones are just a pull and plug thing (or palit na wala na repair) for it's parts.
