^^ Hindi naman luma ang XE. Variant lang ito, lower variant but same model / year make. For example uhm Civic VTi and Civic LXi. Both are civics, same year model and make but the LXi, is lower than those of the VTi. And, I don't really agree with the statement, mas luma mas malakas kumonsumo ng gas. As long as it's properly maintained and proper driving habits. The fuel consumption of a car, wont change. That's for me though.

And, haven't you read what Petron said, that gasolines with blended ethanol ( 10% ) could damage the car's engine. And, using E-10 gasolines, yet its cheaper it lessens your car's fuel efficiency.

+1. Ang Crosswind for example, meron silang XT, XTO, XUV and Sportivo, iba-iba lang ang features nila.

    Go for the lovelife.

^^ I`m also not sure if buying a non e10 compatible car would be nice. There are claims from a gov't agency that by 2011 all the fuel types will be blended with ethanol. But if you have plans in buying a safe car for the future. Buy a GLi, then load it with XCS ( pure gasoline ) not with those who are blended. Baka nga bilhin mo compatible pero masisira din engine mo in the future, wala rin. It's your choice.

If you go for the XE variant chances are, you wont do anything with your engine becuase they wont pursue the 2011 plan ( sana naman )

    or...

you'll go for the XE, change the engine. nakamura ka in the start yet napagastos ka in the end.

    ---------

It will eventually go back to you. So your choices are

    > Go for GLi and load it up with XCS plus or other gasolines that aren't blended with ethanol ( around P42 ito )

    or.

    salamat ulit

^^ But if you could live without the power steering and the defogger which the XE has. Then, the XL would be much more practical.

    Have a fun car hunting

XL is masyadong "bare", wala man lang stock mags, steel rims lang talaga hehe. walang side moldings and mud guards hehe.
