October 5th, 2020 03:02 PM #13CVT uses CVTF, not atf
honda mtf isn't special it's just a 75w80, so use any GL-4 75w80. i replace mine every 6yrs so yeah cost isn't very relevant for something you change every 6yrs

Didn't say anything about it having ATF, though. I mentioned ATF because the 7th gen Civic had AT.
I just mentioned na hindi naman siguro siya kukuha ng CVT, kasi hindi ko alam values ng CVT Fluid volume. Tsaka wala akong info/exp

October 5th, 2020 04:22 PM #15Oh, so naabutan yung last year ng generation na yun yung ULT feature removal. hehe! Kaya parang wala ako naalala na meron way to tumble the back seats to passthrough to the trunk. Hehe!
Parang same production year alala ko ito with the i-Dsi City and transitioning to VTEC na model ng City (starting late 2008 onwards na wala na yung idsi). Buti may nakuha pa at pilit pa nun tinutulak sa amin na kunin yung lalaunch in a week or two nung panahon na yun. So madali lang humindi. haha!
Kasi kung in terms of power, getting to higher speed with the City will mean higher revs compared to the Altis with the 1.6 VVti (as I mentioned earlier).

there was one time we had to haul a lot of boxes of printers. ULT seats collapsed into the floor accommodated all of them. no way they would fit in a normal car. afaik only the totl altis even had any kind of folding seats and it was just the folding backrest type, not even close to the versatility of ULT
as for power the idsi is a weird engine. 8 sparks, 8 valves so torque comes early you could do all your driving under 2000rpm so yeah you could drive it very economically. but 8 valves means it can't breathe well so it kinda sucks at high RPM, but then again you don't need to rev this engine at all. max torque is at just 2800 rpm. so 1st gear at 2800rpm lets you climb all the steepest roads
on the highway it's not so bad either, i've taken it to 160kph

November 5th, 2020 06:06 AM #18[QUOTE=nicolo;3207146]Ah ok sir. Sa casa lang din pwede mabili? And ATF pang matic di ba?

[QUOTE=otomobil;3215010]I would look at the Civic FD (2006-2011) instead of those two cars you mentioned.
For Honda, better stick with their ATF and PSF. Dami na horror stories of people not using such fluids and it caused a nightmare of repairs for their old Hondas.

Choice I would have made as well.
