November 18th, 2012 11:54 PM #35AFAIK the Outlander uses a traditional 6 speed A/T and not a CVT. By GLS AWD do you mean the 3.0V6 or 2.4L model? Its decent enough for the engine size, but the 2.4L shouldn't be a very big improvement over your Fortuner 2.7, and the V6 probably similar or slightly lower than your car.
Performance is excellent though. This is one of a handful of CUVs that can match the Subaru Forester in terms of performance.

November 19th, 2012 10:20 PM #38Sure ka bro? Baka naman 2.4AWD yan kaya similar? Hehe~ No matter how you put it, that's a 50hp difference! The K24 is an excellent engine, but no way is it going to compare against any modern 3.0V6 engine. It gives good punch similar to a V6 at low to mid rpm but runs out of steam starting 80km/h as compared to a V6 which goes on and on...
We have a K24 Accord which is lighter and more aerodynamic than the similarly engined CRV. Fast it is, but still no 3.0V6.Last edited by GTi; November 19th, 2012 at 10:22 PM.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
