I agree with devdevlin and shadow.
Kung pwede nga brand new kung wala kang time to look for good second hand cars.
Mabilis pumili kung brand new p're, pero kung second-hand (third/fourth-hand) unless galing ito sa isang pinagkakatiwalaang kakilala, it will take time... a lot of time. kailangan mong maghanap sa mga buy and sell (), magbabad sa mga sites, magpahanap sa mga kakilala o baka door to door? haha. Matagal talaga ... I remember dati it took me 6 months just to find my first car.

check out this link:

hope this helps. if in case you won't get approved, why don't you ask your parents to apply the loan for you? parang dummy lang...

based sa experience nang mga friends ko.. 50% to 70% lang nang applied amount ang ni a approved dyan sa BDO personal loan.. so kung mag loan ka nang 100T.. baka 50T to 70T lang i approved.. depende pa sa CI nila..

Smooth is right.
Charade ka muna. at least mura, and it gets you from pt A-B.
I understand this is your first car, at least, pwede mo pang crash-car itong charade. Medyo inevitable kasi na masagi ka at makasagi pag first timer.

Marikina- Tiendesitas? How much is your taxi fare back and forth? Kahit maka mura ka sa gas or break even lang, sa maintenance ka naman madadale pag may car ka. Pag brand new yun pang down and monthly, pag 2nd hand naman yun maintenance. I'm not discouraging you to buy a car but feeling you now eh mukhang dead set ka on getting one. Napaka convinient din pag may car ka, that is if well maintained ito. Maraming kang makukuhang tips here on what to look for in a 2nd hand car. Don't rush.

di naman ambisyoso. gaya ng sabi ko napaka convinient pag may car, until traffic, mechanical failures, floods, accidents, high gasoline cost comes in. pag naka public transport you just simply get off and ride another one. malapit na nga akong mag commute sa taas na gasolina, I spend almost 500 php a day for gas from marikina-makati-sampaloc-qc and back to marikina. Pero looking at the time na ma save ko it's worth it naman... or do I just justify it? yun sabi kong don't ruch doesn't apply to all, minsan may ma-tiyempohan ka na ok mechanically and mura pa, that's the time to rush. ;) goodluck.
