Help! Buying On 2nd Hand Car Shops or Buying On Private Sellers Online?

i agree on going the casa route for peace of mind.
pareho na din akong nagkaroo bad experience in both 2nd hand car shops and private sellers eh.

i agree on going the casa route for peace of mind.

my plan on purchasing second hand car peacefully is bring a mechanic and for the last check-up, have the car a full check-up from shops.
so my questions are:

1. how much usually is the professional fee/rate for a mechanic for checking up a prospect car
2. how much is the car full car check up?
3. any recommendations for a shop where i can have the full car check up

FYI: i am not knowledgeable when it comes to car.
