Ayun, bagsak. Kung 5Km/L, it'll take you just 20,000 kms, or about 2.5 years na lang.

What about the diesel bro? What are relatively accurate city drive figures?

Depending on traffic, the diesel should get between 6-8 km/l in the city... much better, obviously on the highway.

You could always buy the gasser and LPG it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Not that far off from SG's Theta II figures.

Lakas din pala consumption ng diesel engine on 2 liter.. Bakit kaya ganon? kasi sa Montero and strada on 2.5 engine 6-8 din on heavy traffic na.. pero average is 8-9 on city driving..

On topic: Gas or Diesel.. Diesel if you use your vehicle more than 25,000km per year but if less than 20,000km per year Gas is suited for you.

7.1km/L worst FC ko sa Tucson. Heavy footed kasi ako. Kung Theta II yun, baka mas malala pa.

Buti nalang mura ang diesel. Almost 10 pesos ang difference ng V-power gas sa V-power diesel.

Iba pa rin ang diesel.. yung 500 pesos mo kaya tumakbo on heavy traffic ng 103Kms average 7km/l on 2.5 engine. yung gas engine kaya on heavy traffic?.. malabo mo ma achieve yan even 1.6 engine, siguro kung yung mga 1.1 and less than 1 liter engine kaya yan..

kaya ng 1.6L altis MT at ng 1.5L vios AT more or less 9km/l on heavy traffic

yung P500(11.4++L) ko sa altis umaabot siguro ng 100+kms, city driving, mix "stop-and-go" and less than 20kph ang takbo. good for 1 week ko yun hehehe

    anything else, i dont know,

Ok, so let's say mga 8 km/L ang average ng diesel Tucs sa city? Is that a safe assumption?

If so, and you travel only 150 kms/week on the average, it'll take about 5 years to make up the P180k difference saved by getting the Gas unit (assuming the Theta II does 5km/L).

Nasa 8km/l lang pala ang city FC ng diesel Tucson? Considering the small displacement, parang ang takaw ah. This sort of FC is usually for 2.5-3.0 diesels isn't it? So how does it compare to the SF's 2.2ReVGT?
