I am buying a 2010 hyundai tucson and I have narrowed down my variant choices to two variant theta II GLS AT 1.1m and crdi GL 1.3m.

The diesel engine would definately be better but the problem is, is it worth it?

The crdi variant for tucson is only 4WD so fuel consumption is higher, also the maintenance cost is higher, smoke gets dark, most of the time I'll be driving my car only around metro manila for everyday driving.

    What do you guys think?

also is it true that the crdi engine of hyundai, easily breaks down?

Diesel. Yes, it's worth it, more torque. I doubt if the CRDi engine would break down easily.

Never. Toyota yung sirain. Tsaka Isuzu Trooper.

At 1.3M, you already get 4WD and an engine that is more powerful AND gets more mileage than the lower priced variant! As for maintenance, hindi malaking bagay 'yun. Gaano kadalas ka nagchachange-oil? A little extra is spent for that but the fuel savings due to the cheaper fuel and better FC... In our case, we use Besco 10W30. Eight liters of that costs only P3800.

I'd be better off spending 4200 on motor oil every few months than 4200 on gasoline every few days.

Walang power talaga?

Ano nga pala ang Petron Rev-X All Terrain na yan? never heard of it before.

Petron Rev-X All Terrain yung Fully Synthetic diesel motor oil ng Petron.

Maraming mag-aagawan dito kapag ibebenta to!

Dun naman sa Theta II, considering your FLEET of vehicles of which all (tama ba?) are CRDi and two are ReVGT... Heck, even a Mazda 626's 120hp 2.0L engine is fast enough already, good exhaust note too if I may add.

GAS or DIESEL?
