    Hi Fellow tsikoteers!

I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand AUV. 150k - 200k lang po budget ko. For family use only

    Mga pinagppilian ko po:

Tamaraw FX '97 or '98 model - gas po ito.
    Adeventure '97 - 2000's model -gas din

    Last options:

    Highlander SLX '97 - 2000 model..
    Hyundai Grace
    L-300 versa van

    Need your suggestions/advise please.

Between FX and Advie gas, Advie ka na.

Definitely a better product than the Grace.

Pero well worth it naman. Old school diesels on the other hand, halos parang gas engine lang rin ang maintenance nun. During my last oil change (Revo 2.4 diesel), wala pang 2k inabot ko sa 5L mineral oil at oil filter. Hindi nagkaroon ng sakit sa ulo kahit kailan, hindi rin nagkaron ng overheat kahit sa mga out of town trips.

+1 on what sir GTI said. I was on the same shoes before, though I had a lower budget 150k max only. I end up buying a 130k gas fed FX (luckily I found a well taken cared of unit). Given your choices, Hi lander would be the best, next is the gas Advie. Though you have to make sure that the Highlander is in good condition (specially its an old diesel), otherwise, Advie would be next.

BTW, as much as possible, given your choices and its age, choose a vehicle with an engine installed at the front, not under the seat. Maintaining an old vehicle requires a little bit of caress , which means you need to at least check the engine once in while. And having an engine under the seat is quiet a hassle (add to that the "egg" burning sensation! )

    Good luck!
