1D4LV, Babae yung SA? Yung ;) pag may sale, akala ko pang pelikula lang ang ganiyan. hehe.
Iba na talaga panahon ngayon, we haven't bought a brand new car in more than 10 years pero naalala ko nung 90s, yung SA talagang nililigawan ng matindi yung client. Ngayon pag pumunta ka sa casa parang utang na loob mo pa pag inentertain ka sa inquiry mo.
Ilang percent ba commission ng SA? I don't think you should give your SA tip kasi nga may commission na sila. Dapat nga ikaw pa ang ilabas niya.

August 21st, 2009 08:52 PM #12Maliit nalang yung commission ng SA, sadly. Less than 4 figures per car is usual. Maybe low-4 digit commission if you purchase the higher (more expensive, 6-digit costing car models/variants)
They do make a little if you get their in-house financing, which is why they push for it a lot, and can even bump you to the top of their wait list (kung meron) if you avail of it.

You mean, maybe they earn slightly bigger commissions if the customer buys the higher variants costing 7 digits? ALL new cars have been priced at least 6-digits for several years now.
Are you serious? Less than 4 figures per car means a maximum of 999 pesos commission per car! That's quite unbelievable! Low-4 digit commission = < 5000 pesos? My gosh!Last edited by woohoo; August 21st, 2009 at 09:56 PM.

August 21st, 2009 09:52 PM #14Naku nangyrai din sakin to, nung una talagang super sales talk yung SA sakin, then nung nakita nya na sure buyer nako, pag nagfofollow-up ako at humihingi ng extra freebies, she turned down my request right away.
Kaya ang ginawa ko, nakipagusap ako sa iba pang mga dealer, nakahanap ako na approve daw yung request ko, i went back to my first SA and told her about it, tapos saka pa lang siya nagsabi na try nya daw negotiate... then finally, ok na rin daw yung request ko.
In fairness to her, siguro sakanya na ko magclose ng deal, dami nya din inertertain na questions ko through numerous phone calls ko sakanya(kaya totoo nga to na parang tayo pa may utang na loob).
Thanks guys so that means, no need for tips.

giving them a tip is like paying for the same real estate twice. it's like using a traditional 123 keyboard cellphone when a qwerty keyboard is available...
if you want to show your appreciation, endorse the name to your friends who are also thinking of buying a car.
heh heh.
