January 25th, 2010 03:48 PM #1Mga Sirs good afternoon as pinas. Here I am again to ask for your wisdom and guidance sa pagpili/pagbili ng kotse. A few years ago this is the same place where I have found unbaised advices hopefully I can hear it again from you guys.
March 2007 I bought my 1st car a 2000 Nissan Sentra Ex Saloon for 215k from a dealer near Robinsons Galleria. I used this car mainly for my daily driving from Gen. Trias, Cavite to Mall of Asia. (Fuel cost for 5 days 1k to 1.2k year 2007 pa ito)Im now going to sell this car main reason kasi yung crosswind namin monday din ang coding.
Now for the fun part, i have a budget of around 350k to 400k to buy another 2nd hand car. Main reason to buy again for daily driving from home to work probably Makati Area. I'm an OFW by the way babalik sa pinas to take up a Masteral Degree/work na din for the meantime although may pa ako darating sa pinas i want to gather information first before deciding which to pick.
Im currently deciding on these choicesProbably ill get these all in AT since ayaw ko na mapagod at sobra traffic sa Longos, Cavite during rush hours)
Honda Civic VTIS 04
Mazda 3
Toyota Vios
Nissan Sentra Exalta Grandeur
Please help me out regarding which one among them has the best Fuel Consumption, Maintenance Cost, what are the common issues/problems in these vehicles, which can provide best comfort.
Again mga sirs i hope you could help me out. Maraming salamat in advance.

the toyota vios will be the best choice, if you do not mind the small space given by your other options.
my second choice will be the VTI-S.

VTI-S ako. Great styling, big interior space. One of the best din sa choices mo. But since, this is 2.0L (?) FC will suffer a little.
Next would be the mazda 3, ayos lang .. di naman outdated ang looks. Kahit na 1.6L ito, mababa pa rin ang FC niya.
Vios is next. Small car, great to drive, cheap parts and easy to maintain. May pinakamagandang FC din. May the variant be J,E ( 1.3 ) or G ( 1.5 )
Grandeur will be the last. Madami `tong kutkutin. Baka may masira. :bwahaha: But, lamig a/c nito. :2thumbsup:
You might also want to consider a hard-to-find STOCK civic sir.

Before I sold my 2005 Innova after 12 years of heavily using it, I never changed its water pump.
