Sir, try finding muna nang Mazda 3 sa Leyte or Cebu. Parang ang layo if Luzon pa galing tapos first time buyer ka. Hassle sa paper works. May na basa akong blog at LTO article about transfer ng location at ownership, parang hassle. If you know the previous owner, maybe it’s ok and if he’s willing to assist you sa paper work.

300k is ok, depende na rin sa condition ng car. I hope may 2nd opinion from a person na may alam sa cars. He can check under the hood, interiors pati chassis. Then test drive.

Paint job maybe 25-30K. Then you have to do paperwork again for changing the color.

I would suggest changing the oils and belts agad unless may evidence (like receipt) sa last oil change. Sa belt naman, important kasi baka ma putol. It happened to my old car years ago. Buti na lang walking distance lang yung car shop. Prepare 10-15 for parts and labor. Ako nag change break pads din after 6 months.

I've no ownership experience w/ pre-Sky Mazdas but have been thru the gen2 CRV, gens 1&2 RAV4. Hands down, the Ravs were miles the better, more able & reliable ones. So good, I won't mind having any of those 2 back. Drawback w/ all 3 was consumption.
I'd suggest combing thru Cebu, pretty sure you'll find really worthy ones.....& go automatic. Good luck, sir.

For me, hassle lang yung transfer process. I also don’t like dealing with LTO, Highway Patrol Group and going to a different LandBank location just to pay but it’s part when you buy a vehicle. If you can process there naman sa Manila, mas better.

Oil at belts, yes mga 15K. Then make sure experienced and honest mechanic.
For ATF, I would suggest sa casa. I’ve read bad stories about ATF. Check mo na rin battery pag may long drive ka.

If may moonroof yung model mo, check din. Baka uulan during long drive.

Depends on where you plan to use it. Totoo Toyota parts are easier to find and cheaper pero i would still choose the Mazda 3 over anything. Mazda is just so underrated.
