I have a 2000 Pajero FM w/c I might sell once I have the engine replaced/overhaul/whatever and use that and my savings to buy either a new Chevy TB or MUx. My friend has both, and apparently they look exactly the same from the inside lol.

Ito dilemma ko, i have 2 options:

    1) Fix my Pajero FM and keep it, then buy a 2010/2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe I've had my eye on for the last month or so, or

    2) Buy a new MUx or TB (A/T 1.350M)

Option 2 will cost me 200-250k more. Option 1 gives me 2 vehicles - one for family and one for recreational purposes lol.

    Help me out bros
Keep the FM and buy the coupe!!!

I have a big dilemma, what should I buy? Should I buy a new car (Mirage GLS or Swift 1.2) or a second hand Swift 1.4?

    FORMULA
VEHICLE MODEL DOWNPAYMENT (DP) NUMBER OF MONTHS AMORTIZATION = TOTAL OWNERSHIP COST = COST PER KILOMETER WITH THE ASSUMPTION OF RUNNING 100k and COST PER YEAR WITH THE ASSUMPTION OF NUMBER OF YEARS OF OWNERSHIP

    · Mirage GLS 63dp 12,500 monthly 60 = 813k = 813 per 1 km/100km (101.k a year/8years)
    · Mirage GLS 61dp 12,276 monthly 60 = 797k total cost = 797 per 1 km/100km (99.62k a year/8 years)
    · Mirage GLX 50k dp 10,500 monthly 60 = 680k total cost = 680 per 1 km/100km (85k a year/8 years)
    · Swift 1.2 88kdp 11,800 monthly 60 = 796k total cost = 790 per 1 km/100km (98.75k a year/8 years)

    · Second Hand Swift 1.4 2013 (20km mileage)
    DP 50,400 11,333 monthly 48 = 594k total cost = 740 per 1km/80km (99.33 a year/6 years)

    What do you think?

well, you seem to have computed which will cost the least...
now go out and examine them and test-drive them, to see if you are willing to forgo certain amenities for money..

alas, only you can answer that question..
