    sayang. the TD27 is as reliable as the 4D56.

    Btw, AFAIK, the hyundai grace/kia besta are also powered by the 4D56.

    Have ridden in all those vans, except the hi-ace. The aircon on the L300 is quite... lacking. Not much difference between the grace and besta.

    sabi ng tropa ko... sinabihan daw sya ng mekaniko about sa hyundai grace... 3 major components daw ng sasakyan (makina, at nakalimutan ko yung dalawa) ay mitsubishi daw... except sa kaha and other parts ay korean made daw... meaning ok din naman pala ang makina ng grace.. unless laspag na mabibili... kung hi-ace naman. hindi naman sa mapili ako. ayaw ko po ng (subic made). nakabili kasi kapitbahay namin 385k, .. pero dami pa dapat palitan.. (dashboard, kinakalawang na ibang parts pag sinasara pinto) sabi nya punta daw sya cagayan para palitan nila mga pyesa, yung mas maganda na daw. e di laki pala ng gastos. limited lang din ata ang seating capacity. kung private use lang siguro pwede, pero kung pang negosyo?...

    anyway, salamat po sa mga opinyon nyo. at kung meron pa pong mga opinyon. keep 'em coming. salamat po..

    wala ata isuzu IPV jan, mahal ba yun? pang kahit ano yun eh, matibay pa at reliable, wala ka masyado aalalahanin sa engine.

    pero doon po ako sa L300FB, para kahit ano business pwede siya, hirap naman ng mga van sa delivery ng malalaking bagay lalo na pag kailangan mo ng spacious area hindi po ba? pag L300 FB kahit papano, maluwag. Pero IPV mas ok po yun.

    i had a besta for 9 years. it's a korean mazda. parts are easy and cheap. good van. reliable. no electronics. it has better ergonomics than the L300. more comfortable driving and passenger comfort. but, just like most engine-under-driver configurations, it gets hot after driving for an hour or so. sometimes i ask myself why i sold mine.. (maybe it's the small garage that i have..)
    the isuzu ipv is probably better, since it uses the traditional engine-in-front design.
