If the condition is good then it should be okay. IMO, the price range of the Crown varies widely and the main factor is the condition. First owner? Low mileage?

Don't expect too much power or speed but you will love the comfort and the timelessness.

If you can stretch your budget, this Crown (S150 is 2 generations newer) is way better than the 95 Crown (S130).

As far as I know this one has straight-6 3.0L engine (2JZ I-6Cyl NA) around 222hp, 5 speed manual, modern interior (complete with power reclining front and rear seats) and fresher exterior. This platform is already

Better than this 95 model (S130 facelift) which is just a facelift of the 1987 model which explains their interior's similarity:

The 3.0L models are quite rare as well as these were not sold locally. I met someone who had one before and i think he got his from the Japanese embassy.

The Crown was also a gov't official favorite from the Martial Law days all the way to the late 80s (1st half of the Cory Aquino admin).

If you really are into these kinds of cars. Cedric and Legend are better options IMO.

The Cedric is available at even lower acquisition cost and offers same spec and more Japanese styling (frameless windows?).

Offers V6 same as 300ZX and sportier handling than the Crown (It's a cousin to the 2nd gen Infiniti Q45).

The Legend, meanwhile, is a front drive luxo cruiser from Honda. 3.2L V6 250hp.

Now this is a nice car. Solidly built with cushiony softness everywhere inside.

^Nicer is the S150. That is the S130. Technically the last locally sold Crown here. But I'd rather suggest the S150. They're both rare anyways.
