Ford Everest - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

1st gen is non-crdi but TDiC naman. Same year kasi na-release TDiC and CRDi engines. ung TDic mga 7-8 km/ltr sa city yan kung M/T, mga 12-13km/ltr sa hway. Malakas at matipid naman yan.

Ang 2nd gen kasi is from 2007-2009. Kaya tanong ko baka yung sayo part ng 1st batch ng 2nd gen? AFAIK yung TDCi Everest may waterproof ECU. Sabi nga daw nung nag-Ondoy, yung mga Everest naimaneho pa nila sa casa para ipaayos. Not sure though with the 1st gen. Pero kung sabihing 7-8km/L city ang 1st gen Everest M/T, parang malakas na uminom yan para sa akin especially considering na manual at 2.5L engine lang yan and it gets pretty much similar gas mileage as our Trooper which is 3.0L and A/T. At kung 1st gen yan, I suggest na 2nd gen nalang hanapin mo. Hindi naman ganon ka layo ang price gap between 1st gen 2006 and 2nd gen 2007. At ang laki laki ng pagkakaiba in terms of engine refinement, performance, and thriftiness.

    mga bossing,

i think my choices got a bit better coz medyo lumaki budget and sabi ni misis don daw kami kumuha sa mga naremata ng bangko. what are your thoughts regarding those vehicles - yung naremata? still choosing between the eve and tivo. this time, nakalagay don sa specs is 2009 eve 4x2 manual and 2010 tivo manual. nagcheck ako ng itsura ng 2009 eve, di katulad ng 09 na nasa list ng bangko more of 08 yung itsura tapos nabili siguro ng 09. excited and confused pa din ako..

wala ka na ba iba choice?? how about starex GRX model??

not really a fan of starex,bossing.. or should i say hyundai.. hehehe.. though maganda yung mga labas nila medyo doubtful ako sa durability. di ko din pinili ang fortuner kasi masikip yung third row same goes with montero. advie naman, mababa.. ang criteria ko kasi eh durable, mataas - pangbaha, maluwag, good diesel engine (sa FC naman give and take ang power and consumption).

Go Get the EVEREST na! you won't have doubts about performance, durability, refinement, FC, and SPACE. Sa 1st gen Everest, yes malakas siya sa diesel pero the performance that it'll give you is undeniably great. Power-on-Tap ika-nga.
