July 22nd, 2011 09:13 AM #1Guys, can you help me out pick which ones better? In terms of FC, looks, specs, etc.
They say that the lancer is bang for the buck considering its features and price, but the old body's bothering me compared to the new body of elantra. I want a car that looks macho.
Which has cheaper parts/cheap to maintain?
Is the lancer 1.6 GLS CVT ipod or usb ready?
Inputs will be appreciated! Tnx
SRP:
New Elantra 1.6 GL MT [Gamma] - 798,000
Lancer 1.6 GLS CVT - 755,000.00

July 23rd, 2011 01:21 AM #2IMHO I'd pick the Elantra without a second thought. The Lancer is very old already. The CVT will also be more expensive to maintain and will be very expensive to repair and replace. The Elantra is definitely faster due to the better engine and manual transmission. This also means its more fuel efficient.

Same here. Elantra would be my choice simply because it's bigger (I'm huge kasi). The newer gizmos are a plus. Yun nga lang parang obvious na kailangan mong mag upgrade ng rims.

You'll have more chances of finding Lancer parts outside, but I'd go for the Elantra... it's a much better car in every way.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'd go with the Elantra. It's a better car in every aspect. HAHA. Forget about the Lancer IMO. The Altis would probably give the Elantra a much more equal competition, but the Lancer? No way.

teka nga pala, yung 2011 at 2012 ay pareho ng body trim? just like the new Sonata?
