whining sound

the current setup is a pioneer HU, a 4 channel amp, powering 2 front speakers (mounted sa doors) ng ford ranger

kapapalit lang ng amp at ngayon din lang nangyari to... may whining sound na lumalabas.. kahit lowest volume o highest volume... pag patay ng radyo nawawala naman...

tried adjusting the gain sa amp... weird lumalabas... if i adjust it in such a way na wala na yung whining sound (about half way from min to max ng amp).. ang hina naman ng volume... nasa 3/4 max na yung volume ng HU tsaka pa lumalakas.. now that i adjusted the amp to about 3/4 max , may whining sound naman ...

pano kaya maayos?

You can filter the "whine" out using noise filters and ground loop isolators.

Autobacs in banawe sells both, I used "Scoshe" ground loop isolator at hindi pa nawala yung whine, next step is the power line - noise filter from "Pioneer".

Some of the audio gurus also say that moving power from the RCA cable apart have solved their whining problem.

Looking at your other thread I assume it is the same V12 amp?According to stores selling this amp, yan talaga sakit ng amp na yan.

this problem is coming out with the new amp na.. although v12 din yung nakuha ko but mas malaki ang wattage and 4 channel na...

so try ko muna separate yung dinaanan ng linya ng RCA and power (positive)... yan ba yung ground loop isolator? o nilalayo lang nito yung ground wire? next step is power line noise filter? san pa kaya available to?

Autobacs in Banawe have a decent RCA filter, "Scoshe" php700.00 yung brand, meron instruction at the back or if your lazy like me you can just have them install it.

Yung noise filter sa power hindi ko pa nabili.

i got the filter na.. and tried it kanina.. weird.. this is what happened...

1. i installed the filter between the RCA cable (from the HU) and the amp... turned on the HU.. and okay.. wala na nga yung whining sound.. turned on the aircon.. wala pa rin yung whining sound... although yung tunog ng sounds eh parang na filter nya din yung low and high frequencies.. yung gitna lang ang naririnig... i tried adjusting the gain of the amp... ganun din.. lumalakas lang ang volume... pero filtered pa din yung high and low frequencies...

2. i took out the filter uli and ikinabit ko uli rekta yung RCA cable (from the HU) to the amp... turned on the HU.. okay.. nawala na rin yung whining sound... turned on the aircon... wala pa rin yung whining sound.. nung i revved the engine.. yun medyo may whine na.. habang tumataas yung rev... tumataas din yung frequency ng whining... at this point, pinatay ko naman yung aircon... wala na din yung whining sound... tried revving the engine.... totally wala na rin yung whining... all the while na hindi na nakakabit yung filter... buong buo yung sound na lumalabas yung speaker... high and low frequencies are being output (buong buo yung boses ni nina habang kumakanta ng ".. jealous of the one who finally found you... " )

i wanted to try to install the filter in between the HU and the RCA cable but wala akong panghugot ng HU eh...

ano kaya ang nangyayari dito??

now that i got the repaired alpine v12 amp na... and installed it back in the system... nawala an rin yung whining sound .. even at the maximum gain setting ng v12 amp na to...

so malamang eh dun lang to sa bagong amp.... does this mean na kapag kinabit ko itong bagong amp na to sa ibang car eh may whining sound din na lalabas?
