TV Plus Car Installation

sorry if i posted in the wrong place. i was looking kasi if there is an appropriate topic and thread for this and found nothing.

i am thinking kasi of installing a TV plus unit inside my sedan (altis). compatible naman yung HU, merong AV functionalities. mga tanong ko lang:

a. pano ang power source neto? san makakabili ng pwede sa oto? yung stock unit ay para sa 220 volts eh.
b. possible kaya na tapped to the lighter na lang ang power? ayoko din kasi ng may mga nakalawit na wires sa loob eh. ang gusto ko lang, pag bukas ang accessories ng oto or tumatakbo ang oto, pwede na agad buksan.
c. saan nakalagay antenna? abot kaya sa likod?
d. saan kaya pwede palagay neto? alabang - las pinas areas?

Naghahanap rin ako ng maliit na digital tv box, bulky masyado yung EBS saka di ko kailangan ng encrypted channels nila

a. pano ang power source neto? san makakabili ng pwede sa oto? yung stock unit ay para sa 220 volts eh.

12v dc adapter ang gagamitin, then pwede na direct tap. kung walang kasamang adapter, need mong bumili sa suking tindahan

abot yan. yung akin abot hanggang sa bubong na pinadaan sa rear door ng monty. pero mahina talaga yung sagap ng signal.

mas makakamura ka yata kung magbuy ka na lang ng tv plus tapos pa-install mo sa suking car accessory shops. try mo dun sa tapat ng admiral village o dun sa harap ng urci. yung kasama ko, 500 lang nagastos sa labor kaso banawe siya nagpakabit. yung akin kasi, c/o casa dahil nakawarranty pa yung unit.

mga ka tsikot tanong lang if may alam kayong way na baka puede mapagana ang tv plus sa ipad? Or android tablet

Sa nakikita ko lang sa pagsearch ko meron android phones or tablets na with digital tv prefer ko sana kung kayanin ang tv plus for mahilig ako manood ng balita and or masulyapan ko lagi si Ms Karen 😋✌🏻

meron ako nyan sir. you have 2 choices. 1 is with wifi and the other is via the usb. yung sa akin via wifi. downside lang di pwede malayo yung phone/tablet sa gotv unit, maximum 2 feet lang mahina kasi wifi signal. eto picture ng gotv...



this is my actual unit, GoTV. naka-velcro lang siya sa dash tapos yung note8 or s6 ko naka cd slot magnetic mount lang. note na hindi kuha ang encrypted channels. also mahina ang antenna need ng extension antenna sa roof and i'm still looking san meron. lalo na pag madami tall buildings nawawala ang signal.

there are 2 models ha, 1 for android and another for ipad.

eto naman yung via usb, available sa ebay. downside is it takes power from the ipad/phone and also di mo pwede i-extend yung antenna sa labas.

May mga digital tv na ngayon mga phone from myphone and starmobile. Mga 3k ata o 4k ba yun. Ok naman signal pag sa labas. Pero pag sa loob ng bahay na maliit ang bintana mahina just like tv plus. Yun lang, di pwede sa iba't ibang device gaya ng kay sir yebo

saakin meron ako lumang starmobile engage tv tablet, tinangal ko battery, nagdagdag ako wire sa antenna, tapos dinikit ko sa passenger visor presto. analog+digital tv+movie. ung signal ng digital depende sa location kaya naghahanap ako antenna with booster na mura.

Stock HU ba yan ng Toyota (with video)? Sa backread kasi safety feature yata yan ng mga vehicles and HUs..which I read can be bypassed.

Anyway, Im thinking of getting a HU DVD player for my Innova.. tapos optional ang TV Plus (depende kung kayang ikabit ng maganda ng installer)

But wait... di ba Bawal na nga daw gumamit ng celphones and media devices such as watching TV/Videos while driving? Is this being strictly enforced?

Of course if may passengers ka naman siguro e di bawal.

If by myself naman, baka ma tempt ako manood ng video or TV pag super heavy traffic naman as in 1 hour ka ng di gumagalaw sa $*#$! traffic

I remember a few weeks back malaking bagay rin yung pakikinig ko sa DZMM ng Senate and House hearings... di ako masyadong nabagot sa traffic kasi aliw . And With Digong around for 6 more years, mukhang marami pang entertaining news and Hearings mangyayari... , kaya parang magandang may Teleradyo or GMA News TV (for non TV Plus brands) sa car...

how do you hide the antenna? the "black box's" included one is bulky and is an eyesore when mounted outside
