What are the differences and their power requirements? Example, if i have a mono amp rated at 500W x 1 * 4 ohms, what would be the actual power output & impedance on a single SVC sub? on a single DVC sub?

To match the amp and the sub,

    1) You may use the amp on a SVC sub with coil rated 500W * 4 ohms.

    2) You may use the amp on a DVC where each coil is rated 250W * 2 ohms, with the coils connected in series.

    3) You may use the amp on a DVC where each coil is rated 250W * 8 ohms, with the coils connected in parallel.
