    guys,

Madami akong nakikitang portable dvd players sa sulit.. Yung mga 7" to 10" worth 2k to 5k..

Naisip ko lang kung may naka subok na ng ganung setup.. Para manonod yung mga backride ko kung matagal biyahe..

Hindi ba madaling masira? Saka pag nalubak ka ba hindi naman ba tumatalon?

Baka may advice kayo sakin thanks

    I'd rather have a netbook.

And it's possible to get a cheap used netbook and then download all your movies into the hard disk to be viewed at your prefered place and time.

we have a Philips and and Coby(china) portables. the Coby is for my mom's vios. and its not as useful while driving, but in case you'll be wondering inside your car for quite some time (let's say 1-2 hrs), yes, it may come in handy, especially those with built-in TV tuners. eto yung practice ng mom ko paminsan minsan. you can also have it as a portable media player. my mom already trashed her Coby player, replaced it with a samsung netbook , suits her since she's a Facebook addict now.

but +1 on sir GH's suggestion. mas makakasulit pag netbook na lang.

I am not keen on buying DVDs nowadays.... I'd rather have digital copies of movies in the HD, and in a netbook or laptop....
