Any ideas on how to set up the audible and visible warning systems on a vehicle designated as an emergency response vehicle? Obviously Whelen and Federal Signal make good components but are there any more cost-effective alternatives? Any idea on prices and where to have the work done? I know some companies that install them but I'm hesistant to recommend since I'm not thrilled at the quality of their installs.
Some examples:
*Unmarked Physician Respone Vehicle (Chevy Trailblazer SS). According to the website set up is: "Siren is a MS4000U Fed Sig undercover siren, built into my console. Lights are Code 3 (grill and steady burn), 911ep (arrowstick -- their TD/WL36 is the best out there), and the rest are whelen."
