Guys, good day!
Please help me decide. Im planning to have a basic/entry-level sound set up on my car.
Sa ngayon. Headunit pa lang napalitan ko, i purchased Pioneer DEH-X2750UI, my car is Ford Lynx 2001 model.
Front speaker is stock(i think) and i want to replace it with "separates/component" speaker.
And here are my choices:
1. JBL GTO 509C
2. Targa X632c
3. Precision Power 6.5” Sedona Component Speaker S2.65C
4. Ground Zero 6.5” Iridium GZIC 650X
5. Anything that you would like to suggest basta same price.
Wala pa akong Na-Audi sa mga to. No idea kung papaano sila tumunog basta ang nais ko sana ay clear na tunog. Yung tipong acoustic/love song ang mostly na patutugtugin.
Also, do i need to have an amp to power the "seps" or ok kung sa HU lang manggagaling.(No plans of putting rear speaker, just seps)
Lets say "OO" sagot niyo. Eto yung dalawang Amp na nakita ko na papasok sa budget ko
1. JBL GT5 Series A604
2. Sound Magus CK75
3. Open for suggestion basta same price range as mentioned above.
Sana ma-enlighten niyo po ako.
Thanks.
Carlo
PS:
Nag post na ako sa KAC pero mukhang di na sila masyado active dun.

For your separate component speakers, choose any that fits your fancy. Since you don't have prior "wants", just pick the brand which you believe is best. This might be subjective for many but it's really what it is. For example, if you "like" Pioneer, why not also get Pioneer speakers.
Do you need an amp to power the speakers? It depends on your needs. If you need to play louder, you'll need one. Experience will tell you naman if you need to upgrade from head unit powered speakers to a dedicated amplifier. If you find yourself wanting more out of the volume knob then it's time.
If you noticed, I don't really give product recommendations. Since I believe it skewers a person's perspective on a product. I don't want more brand evangelists, I want people to enjoy what they have. But if you really wanna know what's going into my head as a budget build, I'll probably go for Firland amplifiers (the small form Class D 4-channel) as well as a 10k range speaker set like Focal Access AS165. Don't ask me why I want these, I just like them.
Also, I'll be posting the same content sa KAC na rin
