Don't know kung natanong na ito noon, but I need your help. What has better sound quality - an FM tuner or cassette connector for ipod? It's for an old car w/ an old set-up: AM/FM/cassette, nothing else. A new head unit is too expensive at this pt. Thanks.

FM modulator na lang pre. Direct connection ka na. Piliin mo lang mga mp3 na isasave mo sa flash disk. Wag mong gamitan ng mp3 na sagad ang compression.

both of them produces not too good sound like CD or USB, but the FM tuner is a mile greater than the ncassette connector.

The Cassette adaptor would produce a more consistent sound than an FM modulator.

I used a cassette adapter myself back in the day. You'll be surprised by the sound quality compared to FM. I used a Tamiya anti-wear grease (from my RC days also) to quiet down the gears inside the adapter.

Thanks for all the tips guys.
Actually it's for someone who owns an old car. Passed on your comments and told him to try to borrow either type of device and see w/c one works best w/ his MP3 player (w/c isn't an ipod pala, kundi yung Zen). Eventually, mag-u-upgrade daw siya ng sound system but til then, the cassette connection or FM transmitter will do.

I'd prefer a good cassette connector (although I have one from CDR-king which pretty much does a good job IMO and only costs P60). I tried both and what I don't like about FM modulators are it being prone to static and FM interference. Minsan nagiging mono pa ang tunog.
Maraming Salamat :)
