It would have been nice kon sa mainland U.S. ang purchase. Sale + Free shipping = better value.

The online purchase can be a worthy alternative...but the freight and the taxes can really jack up the cost...and the trustworthiness of the postal service in the Philippines can be discouraging....baka 2-3 months aabutin...takot din ako ng pilferage.

Case in point the Soundstream VIR 7680 sells now at $389 plus standard freight plus taxes will reached an equivalent of P38,000 na rin.

Ayos rin if a relative will handcarry it for you.

Meron sale ngayon si LACars (they have 2 shops in Makati-Malugay area). If you're a member of kotseaudioclub, he has his sale items there. 25k can get you a really decent DVD HU. 1-DIN lang ba ang slot sa car mo? The JVC 2-DIN units are now sub-25k.
