August 31st, 2004 12:01 AM #1What's the importance of having High Output Pre-Outs? Does an external high powered amplifier compensate for a lowish Pre-Out voltage of say, 1 volt? Why the need to have a 4-volt++ Pre-Out?

August 31st, 2004 10:52 AM #2High output voltage means the power amplifier does not have to work so hard to produce sufficient gain to give high volume levels. As a result, even a low gain power amplifier can be used, giving excellent sound quality with low noise.

September 2nd, 2004 06:18 PM #6Go for it bro! Most probably all you need to do is set your RF's gain settings near the minimum.... enjoy!
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
