July 14th, 2003 02:12 PM #11How important is it to "seal" the subs? The subs and the wire terminal did not come with gaskets. Can I use some kind of sealant? Should I remove the carpet under?

IF you are going for the "hard" bass, its really important to have a good seal for the sub-box. Before, I used silicon sealant to plug the small holes and gaps in my isobaric sub-woofer box. Not the most ideal but it works.
AS for the carpetting, ok lang to leave it as is.
