    i prefer to turn off the start stop, because the drivers here are very rude they will cut you off with very little space... so yung start stop is almost useless and kumakadyot sya if it stops then you suddenly remove your foot from the brake... and yes the compressor stops blower lang yung gumagana.

    The start/stop takes a bit of getting used to, but it works fine. It starts right away as soon as you press the gas pedal. No problem with the aircon. And I get 14.5km/liter :-) My unit is a 318d.

    I have a Mazda with i-stop and it doesn't bother even during stop and go traffic. Not sure lang how effective it is in terms of gas savings.

    my friend also has the 2.5li CX-5, it has built-in a lot of Smarts in the iStop programming so its really (almost) unobtrusive in Daily use.
