It's the cost of the parts that'll kill you

It may be cheaper in the end to get a more expensive 8 in better condition. And like what M54 said, with its misaligned panels it makes you think whatever caused it.

Hi, I would like to ask everyones honest opinion on the fuel consumption of a 1997 BMW 316. I am considering on buying one for my wife. The car is all stock and low mileage. Ive been having a hard time searching for information on the internet regarding its engine and fuel consumption. Thanks, your help will be appreciated.

    Hi Marlon,

    It should have the M43 B16 engine ... 1596cc / 102hp / 4 Cylinders

For a review and further details: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/review...odel=91&page=7

As always, fuel consumption depends on a lot of factors. Comparing it with other cars (like Japanese ones) on that website will give you a good idea.

hi peeps...have been a lurker here for some quite some time now. Great thread...very informative...keep it up.

question lang. i checked my car 1998 320i, seems like there's an oil leak on the crank shaft. this needs pulling off the A/T transmission.
who do you recommend aside from casa who can do this job? (yung mura lang ha) thanks.

our family owns a bmw 2001 325i executive. all i can say is that i haven't experienced a better ride yet than this car. handling is top notch and the car's engine is really breath taking lalo na nung bago pa sya. i broke into the 200km/h speed barrier with this car in star tollway. you can really feel your body slam back to the seats once you're tempted to mash the gas pedal. the only drawback is maintenance. had a problem with the computer box and suspension and it cost my dad 110k!!! sabi ko nga sa kanya pang-down payment na ng bagong sasakyan yun.

Autosport along Pasong Tamo ext. Better check with Nadji first because they have a long list of customers. This is where high end buy and sell traders bring their euros and exotics for repair.
