sir, ni-check ko na owner's manual ng avanza, wala yung color coding for the wires of the stock head unit...

Typically sa car stereo, red-battery;yellow-acc.;black-ground;blue-power antena or amp. switch;then the 8 wires that are paired with a white stripe are for the speakers.

Sa vanzy panasonic ang stock h.u. ng 1.3j, madali lng ma-distinguish yung mga wires, yung diagram nakadikit sa body ng car stereo, kaya kailangan mong tanggalin yung h.u. para ma basa mo yung daigram..

Actually madali lang naman ang wirings ng car stereo, lahat ng unit may mga diagram, meron sa HU mismo at meron din dun sa tag ang wirings nya then if bago yun HU meron din sa manual. Basta you know how to read and alam mo yun basic na red is for positive(+) black is (-) means grounding kaya't kaya kaya mo nayan. Even yun mga sa speakers,power antenna ay mga lavel or indcated sa diagram ng HU mo. HTH

I want to share how I DIY my head console map light.

• Test the map console light if it’s working before installing it. Please apply the basic wiring (red is for positive (+)) and (black is for negative (-)). If you can see there are wire in map console light (red), (black) and (yellow).
1. Red (positive)
2. Yellow (for door switch)
3. Black (Negative or ground)
• Try to fit the overhead console in the ceiling, if you can notice na walang metal holder toward dun sa aircon to hold, so you need to fabricate ng metal, any thin flat sheet will do.
• Detached the dome light and unscrew the 2 screw to see the inner wiring of dome light, you will see 2 wire with color red and white blue (door switch)
• Strip the red wire and soldier the red wire color from the console light
• Strip the white blue and soldier the yellow color from the console light
• Attached the black (-) wire to body ground or to the screw of the dome light that will definitely will grounded.
• Wrap it with electrical tape to avoid short circuit of wires.
• Assemble and put back in the proper place the dome light. Don’t forget to insert the thin flat metal of the console light in the dome light before tighten the screw. This will be the one to hold the console map light.
• Try to open the door if the light in console dome if works, then test also the map light if its working
